A MAN was arrested over the theft of about $6000 worth of tools from Bunnings in Cranbourne.
Police said the 28-year-old man Eynesbury man was allegedly using a car he had on loan from Budget Rentals, in the Melbourne Airport, at the time of the theft, about 5am on Monday 8 June.
The man was arrested the day after the Cranbourne break-in and charged in relation to a number of other burglaries as well, where other Bunnings stores across Victoria were allegedly targeted.
He was bailed to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court this week.
