A MAN who drove his car off the road and into a dam in Cranbourne was charged with driving while disqualified.
The man lost control of his car on Thompson Road just before 5pm on Thursday 4 June, driving it off a ditch and becoming airborne before crashing into the dam, 150 metres east of Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road.
Passers-by quickly notified the authorities.
It’s believed the man lost control of the wheel in the wet weather, while police have also alleged he may have speeding.
The man was interviewed by police in relation to a number of driving offences, and later charged with disqualified driving.
