Lynbrook centre is open to all

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

THE Lynbrook Community Centre was officially opened on Saturday 30 May by Casey mayor Mick Morland.
“This centre is a $4.5 million investment in Lynbrook and the surrounding community,” he said.
The multipurpose facility includes three large halls featuring drop-down projectors, integrated sound systems, stage lighting and electric blinds.
A green room, commercial kitchen, large deck area with built-in barbecue and consulting rooms were built and Cr Morland said the centre can now be used for services such as art, music, dance, cooking and exercise classes for all ages.
“The meeting spaces all have televisions and whiteboards and the large decked area will be perfect for community events,” he said.
