Conducting the Eagles

Cranbourne stalwart Frankie ‘J’ Johnson has handed over the team manager’s role this season, meaning he and his good mates, now retired trainer John Harkin and Allan Stringer can once again sit back and enjoy a few frothies at the footy. Frankie J was in full voice after Saturday’s big win over Beaconsfield, leading Matt Davey in a raucous rendition of the Eagles’ theme song. Johnson and Harkin will make a comeback on Saturday 23 May, Frankie as team manager and Harkin as trainer for the South East Football League’s big clash against Sunraysia at Casey Fields. 138903 Picture: STEWART CHAMBERS
