Did it all for mum

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

RANGEBANK Preschool celebrated Mother’s Day early with a special day of craft, cooking and memory making on Wednesday.
The annual Mother’s Day fun is a very special occasion at the preschool, teacher Barbara Ryan-Perkins said.
“In preparation for the day the children all participated in making a variety of food for their mums including scones, sandwiches, honey joys and cupcakes,” Ms Ryan-Perkins said.
Mums were invited into the kitchen with their child to make fairy bread and savoury biscuits on the day as well as handprints and gift giving.
“They made craft creations and did various activities around the room including being patients in a hospital and the children presented their mums with handmade gifts,” she said.
