More Men’s Sheds on horizon

THE Berwick Woodworkers Club is one of many activity groups in Casey that could share in $750,000 of State Government funding made available to build new Men’s Sheds across Victoria.
Narre Warre Warren MP Luke Donnellan on Tuesday confirmed that grants of up to $60,000 are now available for men’s groups to build new facilities.
The funds may be used to construct a new Men’s Shed, redevelop an existing building into one, or co-locate a Men’s Shed in a multi-function community facility.
Applications for the grants close on 19 June 2015, and for more information visit www.dhs.vic.gov.au/for-business-and-community/community-involvement/men-in-the-community/mens-sheds.
