Armed robbery

A MIDDLE-aged Hampton Park resident was the victim of an attempted armed robbery last Friday.
The woman was walking through parkland behind Green Valley Crescent at the north end of Silvern Grove Reserve in Hampton Park around 10.47am when she was confronted by a male who allegedly produced a large knife and demanded her possessions.
He stole the woman’s handbag, which has not been located, and fled towards Pound Road.
Multiple police units, including a police dog attended and found the knife used in the robbery.
