Search for swim stars

WAS the next Casey TigerSharks Olympian or Commonwealth Games member in the Casey RACE pool on Sunday?
The swimming season never really ends, especially for the young cubs at Casey RACE as they took to the pool on Sunday morning for the TigerSharks Long Course Qualifying Meet.
With an exceptional pedigree for mentoring up-and-coming swim stars, the Casey TigerSharks Swimming Club continued its search for the next champion with the lanes at Cranbourne’s swimming centre all day Sunday.
The event serves as one of the final meets before the Australian Age Swimming Championships and Australian Swimming Championships held next month in New South Wales.
The meets will be held at SOPAC in Sydney where Matson Lawson and Josh Beaver will be out to go one step better in the 200m backstroke.
The duo finished second and third respectively last year in the event to book their spots in the 2014 Commonwealth Games squad behind Olympian Mitch Larkin.
