TWO experienced singing groups will get together later this month for “an afternoon of song” at St John’s Anglican Church.
On Sunday 29 March, a combined concert between the Australian Welsh Male Choir and the Cranbourne Chorale will bring together a variety of sounds .
This will give the Welsh male choir, which usually performs in Frankston, the chance to be part of another local performance ahead of the group’s trip to the United Kingdom this year.
The Australian Welsh Male Choir will sing at Royal Albert Hall.
Chorale secretary Jenny Toin said it would provide both choirs, who have the same conductor Anne Credlin, a good chance to combine.
“It’s an opportunity for them to sing the program they will sing in England,” she said.
