EMERGENCY services personnel and police rushed to a Cranbourne East housing estate yesterday afternoon after a trench collapsed trapping a man in his 20s.
The incident happened near Tangmere Road and Linsell Boulevard.
Worksafe is investigating.
The man was reported to have died in the incident but neither Victoria Police nor the ambulance service would confirm his death by late yesterday (Wednesday). 135550
