Man caught, stolen car recovered

A MAN who stole a car and tried to flee was caught last week.
Police detected the stolen car in Devon Meadows around 8.20am on Friday 20 February and saw the male driver sleeping inside.
The man quickly got up and escaped in the car, which was soon found dumped and abandoned.
Police found the man trying to escape on foot in a nearby paddock.
