Fountain of life’s landmarks

THEY met at a party at the Fountain Gate Hotel so it was hardly surprising that when Ben and Diana Harold were looking for the perfect wedding reception venue they would return there.
“We chose Fountain Gate Hotel because it was close to home and we wanted to be able to save money due to the fact that we are saving for our house,” Diana said.
“I had my 21st at Fountain Gate Hotel and it was great then so I had no hesitation with booking our reception.”
In fact it was at her 21st that Diana met her future husband after he had been invited by her parents – it was love at first sight and they have been together ever since.
But while cost had been a first concern, it was not the whole reason for choosing the Fountain Gate Hotel as their venue.
“I loved how dedicated and enthusiastic (staff) Kelly and Sandy were about making sure that our reception was everything we wanted.
“They were always able to answer our calls and always willing to meet,” Diana said.
“Both my husband and I were blown away by the service and dedication of the staff and Fountain Gate Hotel.
“Everything worked like clockwork and no request was too hard.
“The highlights to me were seeing how great the reception was decorated and our entrance.
“I would definitely recommend Fountain Gate Hotel as a reception.
“They cater to your every whim and their main aim was to make me and my now husband happy.”
Venue manager Sandy Chambers has had 18 years in hospitality and has been managing this venue since September.
She said the hotel offers a stylish bistro along with a lounge bar and TAB and Keno facilities.
It can cater for functions from 21st birthday parties to engagements, weddings and all sorts of corporate events in either cocktail or sit-down style.
Sandy and her friendly team focus on providing great food, great drink specials and excellent service and making sure a special occasion is everything that clients would want it to be.
The Hotel Fountain Gate is at Westfield Fountain Gate, Magid Drive, Narre Warren.
