Doubters proved wrong

CRANBOURNE RSL BOWLS

There was no talk from Cranbourne RSL Division 2 before the game on the consequences of losing Saturday’s tournament. Everyone knew what they had to do… win. And in the twinkling of an eye the RSL opened up a big lead and never surrendered that lead all day. Everyone bowled well under extreme pressure of knowing a loss would see them relegated to Division 3. The final result was a crushing 42-shot win. The victory song at the end of the game was sung with passion and pride for a club which once again proved the doubters wrong.
