POLICE have seized a large amount of cannabis with a combined street value of $1 million from properties in Berwick and Cranbourne North.
Police raided both houses this month as part of an ongoing investigation, but it’s not believed the two are linked.
A 44-year-old man was arrested after police raided the property in Baddeley Circuit, in Cranbourne North, on Thursday 8 January.
A 20-year-old man was also arrested on Thursday 22 January after police raided a second property in Venables Court in Berwick.
Detective Senior-Constable Andrew Pybus said it was good to get the cannabis “off the streets”.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or file a confidential report at www.crimestoppers.com.au.
