A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was robbed as he walked along a footpath in Hampton Park last week.
On Thursday 15 January the teenager was walking along Amber Drive about 5pm.
He noticed a car pull up in a nearby court and was then approached by four people who asked for his belongings.
When he tried to negotiate the group threatened to assault him.
They took his phone and headphones before they ran off towards a car that was described as a white, four door hatch.
A 16-year-old boy from Narre Warren South was later charged and will appear at the Dandenong Children’s Court.
Police are still investigating.
