Carnival of cricket

SUPPORTERS eager to get out and watch the West Gippsland Warriors’ Country Week campaign have been dealt a good hand after the release of fixtures for the week-long carnival starting Monday 9 February.
The Warriors’ quest for promotion to division two starts on Monday, against Wangaratta at Balwyn Park, but then head towards home with games against Central Gippsland (Endeavour Hills), Goulburn Murray (Frankston) and Seymour (Casey Fields) rounding out the qualifying stages of the tournament.
If – as we all hope and expect – the Warriors get through to Friday’s grand final the GPS co-ordinates will need to be set for Bayswater Oval.
All games commence at 10.15am.
