CRANBOURNE BOWLS

CONFIDENCE is everything with the Cranbourne Division-2 side continuing on from last week with an exciting two-shot win over Burden Park on Saturday.
Skip Neil Fell was very happy with his team of Maree Taylor, Graeme Wood and Ken Fulton who went on to win by six shots to seal overall victory for Cranbourne.
“Maree led the way well supported by Graeme with some tight bowling and Ken played some superb bowls all day,” Fell said.
The Division-1 team gave up a good lead against MCC to eventually lose by 13 shots.
“It is disappointing when we know we can match it with these good sides but we seem to fall over at the business end of the game… very frustrating” said head coach Steve Arthur.
The Division-3 side went down to Berwick at home by 11 shots, however the Division-4 side also playing Berwick finished with an exciting draw.
The Division-7 side had a walkover against Brighton Beach.
