Backing to ensure abilities

THE longevity of the Cranbourne all abilities cricket and all abilities football teams will be ensured under a re-elected Napthine Government.
Liberal candidate for Cranbourne Geoff Ablett announced that a Napthine Government would commit $10,000 to support the local teams next year.
This will help the members who struggle to pay for uniform and registration, and also help the clubs meet the costs of running a bus to transport those players who need a special vehicle.
“Our local All Abilities teams provide great opportunities for all members of our community, who are passionate about their cricket and football, to play the sports they love,” Mr Ablett said.
“The players, coaches, spectators, volunteers in the canteen, game officials and all other supporters of the All Abilities teams do amazing work to support the players.”
Mr Ablett said he supports local sport and wants all young people to be involved.
“We love our sport in Cranbourne, whether it’s cricket, footy, netball or soccer to name just a few,” he said.
“Sport brings together all parts of our community – I’m proud to be part of Denis Napthine’s team as we support these important community groups.”
