Age of art has a positive take

MEMBERS of the Cranbourne U3A celebrated the Ageing Positively Festival with a touch of art this month.
The group held an open day on Friday 10 October from 10am until 2pm to showcase the courses available to seniors in the City of Casey.
Make and take art sessions, including card making, calligraphy and funtangle classes, ran throughout the morning and created plenty of interest.
Visitors were also given advice on computer classes and genealogy.
A free morning tea and lunch was served to all who came to see the display and organisers were pleased to add a few new names to the courses.
