Holt assault unimpeded

IF a player ever had reason to celebrate a goal it was Cranbourne skipper Marc Holt, whose seventh dissection of the big sticks had massive consequences against Narre Warren in Saturday’s preliminary final at Holm Park Road. Holt’s right foot snap, from deep in the forward pocket, chalked up his 100th goal for the season but, more importantly, it also gave his Eagles the lead which they held at the final siren to set up a grand final showdown with Beaconsfield.
