Two arrested over tractor’s bedroom crash

By CAM LUCADOU-WELLS

TWO men have been arrested and released by police detectives over a tractor crash into a house in Lyndhurst last week.
The tractor, stolen from a Glasscocks Road property, crashed into the front bedroom of a Castawellan Street home about 12.45am on 2 September.
Police said a couple, a 34-year-old man and 41-year-old woman, who were sleeping in the bedroom were fortunate to have survived.
Last week, Casey CIU detectives arrested a 20-year-old Endeavour Hills man and a 22-year-old Pakenham man.
Detective Senior Constable Michelle Chang said the pair were interviewed and released pending further inquiries.
