CALLING out the names of 17 champions, the South East Juniors (SEJ) anointed their Best and Fairest winners for season 2014 at the SEJ awards and presentations held last night (Tuesday) in Berwick
In a tight race for the Youth Girls trophy, Mornington’s Emily Rylance (21) knocked off significant competition to claim the ladies’ top honour ahead of grand final best-on-ground winner Taylah O’Hagan and Cranbourne’s Hayley Wildes (19).
Officer Kangaroos’ under-14 Division-2 star James MacKenzie led the divisions with 35 votes to win this year’s Lindsay Patching Medal.
Beaconsfield’s Youth Girls premiership winning coach Troy Robinson was named Youth Coach of the Year while the junior prize went to Noble Park’s Andrew Kampl.
