Helicopter called in after shooting

THE police Air Wing was called in to try to locate those involved in a shooting in Narre Warren last week.
Police are still investigating the circumstances around the shooting, which occurred about 5pm on Wednesday 27 August.
A number of men turned up at a house in Heyington Circle where a dispute broke out resulting in the home’s occupant being shot to his lower body.
The 37-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
Police responded quickly to the incident and the Air Wing was called which managed to locate and help in the arrest of a 42-year-old Terang man.
The man has since been released pending further inquiries and police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
