Stars shine as cars sell out

THE all new C-Class was unveiled at Mercedes-Benz Berwick last week with a lavish Stars and the Cars launch party.
More than 350 guests mingled with managing director Horst Von Sanden of Mercedes-Benz Australia and sporting ambassadors former Essendon footballer Matthew Lloyd and golfer and radio personality Mark Allen.
Sports broadcaster Sandy Roberts and valued customer of Mercedes-Benz Berwick also compared the night.
Guests sipped Champagne and Espresso Martinis while nibbling on street food and oysters in the presence of five gleaming all new C-Class vehicles, all of which were purchased on the night by impressed guests.
Opera singers Figaro performed several highlights from Nessun Dorma to You Raise Me Up, their voices soaring to goose bump level in the German designed Autohaus showroom.
Impressive DJ Claire Elliot, who had just flown in from headlining in LA, gave the rest of the night a fun party feel and combined with the amazing skills of Select AV they made sure the unveiling had impact and delight.
The all new C-Class is pure Mercedes-Benz.
The standard model comes with the Mercedes star integrated in the radiator grille and a wealth of high-class equipment.
Exterior highlights include agility control suspension with selective damping system, rear bumper with insert in black diffuser look and beltline trim strip in polished aluminium.
Interior highlights include seats upholstered in Aberdeen fabric, piano lacquer-look trim, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel in black leather, dashboard in black, nozzle surrounds and buttons in silver chrome, roof lining in crystal grey fabric and front door sill panels with Mercedes-Benz lettering.
The all new C-Class can assist the driver with braking when it really matters and issue an alert if it detects driver drowsiness thanks to Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive.
Innovative standard or optional driving assistance systems provide the driver with even more support than ever.
To make a car even more efficient, Mercedes Benz developed highly sophisticated drive technologies that are both powerful and economical.
If the aerodynamics are optimised at the same time, agility and driving dynamics are enhanced. The body is lightweight yet robust.
With 20 per cent more aluminium components and ultra-high-strength materials, the all new C-Class also sets standards in this respect while offering a level of safety that only a Mercedes-Benz can.
The all new C-Class delivers impressive driving dynamics backed by quality sales and servicing as expected from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-Benz Berwick.
Mercedes-Benz Berwick is a finalist in the Casey Business Awards, in the retailer category (awards to be announced in October) and is the recipient of the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Dealer of the Year for Passenger Cars and Vans for 2013 Australia wide.
