These cold wintery days are ideal for rugging up and enjoying great food with family and friends by the warmth of a home fire.
What better incentive to plan a visit to the Casey Farmers Market and stock up on favourite produce ready to prepare for winter delights.
The Casey Farmers Market boasts a wide variety of produce to select from including fresh vegetables straight from the farm, herbs and spices, free range eggs, fresh pastry, cheese, honey, freshly baked biscuits and bread, jams olive oil, beef, pork, free range poultry and much more.
The market’s August feature stalls are Sisely Estate Wines preservative free wines.
Owners Karin and John operate a small family vineyard and winery producing elegant handcrafted preservative free wines in the centre of the Yarra Valley wine region.
Rosies Strawberries sells first grade, delicious strawberries straight from the family farms located at Worri Yallock in the Yarra Valley.
Welcomed back to the market is BM Pet Snax for all pet products and there is a special welcome to new stall Bloomin’ Koomen Flowers, specialist rose production and cut flower growers.
While shopping visitors can enjoy the background music by the market quartet and enjoy great coffee from Barista Bros and a sausage or hamburger with the lot from the Rotary barbecue.
The Rotary Club of Berwick Casey Farmers Market is at the Old Cheese Factory, 34 Homestead Road, Berwick, on Saturday 23 August from 8am to 12.30pm.
