MEDAL-MANIA continued for the Casey TigerSharks with a pair of junior swimmers bringing back the hardware from the Victorian Age Short Course Swimming Championships.
Smashing the competition at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, butterfly gold returned with Bowen Gough as the young TigerShark earned gold in the men’s 200m SC butterfly – touching the wall at 2.03.92
Continuing the butterfly prowess for Casey, James McBride earned himself silver in the boy’s 12-and -under 200m SC butterfly, finishing in 2.32.61 to finish second behind Nunawading’s Ryan Bicknell.
The TigerSharks will welcome back Commonwealth Games trio Mitch Pratt, Matson Lawson and triple-medallist Josh Beaver on Friday night at Casey RAC from 6.30pm.
