A MAN has been charged after allegedly acting aggressive towards family members and trying to evade police last week.
On Tuesday 29 July, police were called to a house in Ventasso Street, Clyde North, after reports of a man being aggressive towards others and allegedly being drug affected.
When police arrived, the man attempted to get away in a car but was blocked in by a police vehicle.
Police said the man then got out of the car and ran into another house nearby, before surrendering peacefully following negotiations with officers.
Police arrested and charged the 43-year-old man, from Clyde North, with assault and weapons related offences.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
