TigerSharks swim with the tide

IT IS quite possible that the next generation of Casey TigerSharks’ Commonwealth Games swim competitors took to water on Sunday at an interclub swimming meet.
Emulating their club’s first Commonwealth Games medallist Josh Beaver – swimmers from across the region descended on Casey ARC to battle the rest of the state in the Casey TigerSharks’ Encouragement Games Meet.
Maybe the height and strength of backstroker Matson Lawson is what they aim to swim like – or perhaps butterfly is more their style like TigerSharks’ dynamo Mitch Pratt – who finished fifth in the final on Sunday morning (AEST).
It would have been meets like these that started the careers of this TigerSharks’ trio.
Sunday may well have been the beginning of another champion’s swimming journey… only time will tell.
