NBN rolls in

CRANBOURNE West homes are among 16,100 homes and businesses across Victoria added to the National Broadband Network (NBN) rollout footprint.
Build preparation for fixed-line broadband is underway in Cranbourne West.
It’s about 12 months from the start of construction to residents and business owners receiving NBN services from phone and internet providers.
“Fast broadband can help deliver improved access to e-health resources, online education, teleworking opportunities and entertainment on demand,” NBN Co. spokeswoman Corrie Withers said.
“For people in rural and regional areas, NBN will provide access to internet speeds and bandwidth that many in the big cities take for granted.”
Detailed maps showing areas included are available at www.nbnco.com.au/rollout/rollout-map.
