New signs point the way

CRANBOURNE visitors won’t have any trouble finding their way around thanks to new way-finding signage.
Signs of various sizes and designs made from rusted steel, stainless steel and sandstone are now located along High Street, at major entries to key destinations and at the suburb’s northern and southern gateways.
City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said the signs provided an impressive introduction to Cranbourne.
“The signs provide a great first impression of the region and promote Cranbourne’s unique identity by showcasing the area’s strengths, such as the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, thriving equine industry and strong focus on sports tourism such as the Casey RACE,” he said.
“The gateway signs promote all that’s great about living in Cranbourne and we’re sure they will bolster civic pride among Cranbourne residents.”
The signage was a key outcome from the Cranbourne Community Action Plan, developed between the City of Casey, the Department of Transport, Planning, and Local Infrastructure and the wider Cranbourne community.
