SEAWEED took on a new meaning in Tooradin last week, after parts of what was believed to be a marijuana plant floated ashore.
A local businessman contact the News on Wednesday after he came across what he said looked a lot like off-cuts from a marijuana plant along the shoreline.
He said there was not a huge amount, but he thought it looked like someone had thrown out what they didn’t want from their crop into the water.
The man said he was 100 per cent sure that what he was looking at was from marijuana plants, as he remembered what it looked like from his younger days.
