A YOUNG man was left with a broken nose and possible broken jaw after being bashed by a group of men in Cranbourne North on the weekend.
The 18-year-old man from Endeavour Hills got off the train at Merinda Park Railway Station at 8.10pm on Saturday night.
Police said he saw a group of about eight males fighting among themselves in the car park.
One of the men questioned him about what he was looking at and the victim replied “nothing”.
The same man then approached the victim and punched him once.
The victim tried to run off, but the group of men caught up with him and assaulted him, police said.
The man was taken to the Dandenong Hospital, where he was treated for a broken nose and possible broken jaw.
