Men injured in crashes

TWO men were left fighting for their lives in the past week following two separate collisions in Devon Meadows.
About 1.50am on Monday, a car travelling west along Baxter Tooradin Road collided with a truck traveling east.
The sole occupant of the car, a Pakenham man aged in his late 30s, received life threatening injuries and was airlifted to The Alfred hospital where he remains.
The truck driver was uninjured.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
On Wednesday 14 May at 6.10pm, a Devon Meadows man in his mid-20s collided with a car while walking his dog in the middle of North Road.
The pedestrian was taken to The Alfred hospital where he is still in a serious condition.
The driver of the car, a Pearcedale man in his 60s, was not injured.
No charges have been laid and police are still looking into the circumstances around the collision.
