We are told that the current tax is 38 cents per litre, this is wrong as we pay 10 per cent GST on the fuel the service and the Fed Tax, which means we are paying 3.8 cents GST on the Fed Tax, making it .418 cents.
If the Fed Tax is raised to 42 cents per litre plus GST, this will mean we are paying 46.2 cents per litre.
How can the Federal Government justify GST on the Federal Fuel Tax when it is neither a goods or a service.
