Tangible love shown to mums

By BRIDGET COOK

CHILDREN from Rangebank Preschool treated their mums early in the lead-up to Mother’s Day last week.
The preschool held a special Mother’s Day event on Wednesday, where a significant woman in each child’s life came in for a fun day of activities together.
Director Barbara Ryan said a great day was had by all and the children loved having their mums join them in the classroom.
“They engaged in a handprint activity together, along with enjoying the sensorial experience of cloud dough and decorating their mums with handmade necklaces they threaded together,” she said.
“They also enjoyed making and eating fairy bread together.
“The children also made scones for the occasion which they presented to the mums on arrival.
“A photo of each child and mum was also taken to remember the occasion.”
