Champions for the season

CRANBOURNE RSL Bowls Club held its presentation night recently to honour its champion bowlers from the season gone by.
Club champion for the first time was Ron Hansen who capped off a great year of bowling by also winning the Pairs and 100-up trophy.
Ron’s skip in the Pairs victory was Wally Ballard.
Ray Chapman won his second mixed pairs trophy when he partnered Denise Meulman to the title.
The first ever winners of the triples championship was the trio of Ray Chapman, Jesus Carretero and Ken Hocking. Ken Walker finally won the minor singles after being beaten by one shot two years running.
Ken also won the 21-up championship.
The night held in the Bistro of the Dandenong/Cranbourne RSL was a great success.
Congratulations also go to the runners up Steve Hickson, Marijan Bobetic and Ken Walker, Steve and Karen Hickson, Karen Hickson, Ken McLeod and Steve Hickson, Barry Graham (twice) and Marijan Bobetic.
