THREE Staffy dogs were stolen from a Cranbourne animal shelter last week.
Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives believe two men gained entry to the Lost Dogs Home on Thompsons Road just after 11pm on Saturday 3 May.
The men spent almost an hour and a half inside the shelter before stealing three dogs.
The dogs stolen were a six-month-old tan and white male American Staffy mix, a two-year-old female Staffy with blue/grey body and white chest and black and white female American Staffy pup.
Police have released CCTV images of two men they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
The first man was described as Caucasian and aged early to mid-20s.
He was wearing a dark hoody, blue shorts with white writing, grey sneakers, black socks and a dark-coloured cap.
The second man was wearing a dark hoody, navy track pants with white stripes down the side, sneakers and a dark-coloured cap.
Anyone with any information about the burglary is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
