A POLICE officer had to go to hospital after coming to the aid of PSOs who were allegedly attacked at Narre Warren Railway Station last week.
The PSO officers asked two men to move on from the station at 7.10pm on Wednesday 9 April, after they were allegedly being abusive to other patrons and drinking alcohol.
Police said about half an hour later the two men, aged 28 and 20, returned to the station where a scuffle broke out between them and the PSO officers.
Police then attended as well where they were assaulted in the struggle.
One police member sustained a substantial cut to his elbow and had to get treated at hospital.
Both men were charged with intentionally causing injury and assaulting police and were bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates Court at a later date.
