A MAN had to be subdued with capsicum spray after he allegedly assaulted police during one of three raids across Casey last week.
Drugs, firearms and illegal weapons were some of the items seized during three separate raids in Berwick, Endeavour Hills and Cranbourne.
The first raid took place on Monday 24 March where police executed a search warrant at a house in Saul Avenue, Berwick.
Police located drugs, believed to be both GHB and methamphetamine, an assortment of prohibited weapons and cash.
The three occupants of the house, a 21-year-old woman and 20-year-old man both from Pakenham, and a Berwick man, 21, have been arrested and are assisting police with their inquiries.
Police conducted another search warrant at a house in Skye Crescent, Endeavour Hills, on Wednesday 26 March.
Police seized a number of weapons, a loaded firearm and cannabis.
Three Endeavour Hills men, aged 17, 23 and 39, were charged with drugs and firearms offences and have been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
While police were at the address, a 19-year-old Endeavour Hills man showed up and was later charged following an alleged altercation with police.
The man had to be subdued with pepper spray.
He was charged with assaulting police and resisting arrest. He has been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ court on 3 June.
Methamphetamine, weapons, firearms and cash were seized on Thursday during a raid at a house in Lonsdale Crescent, Cranbourne.
A 28-year-old man, from Cranbourne, was charged with firearm, drugs and proceeds of crime offences.
He has been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 17 August.
