Bands set to rock

CRANBOURNE Public Hall will rock with live music tomorrow night for the FReeZA Fringe Fest.
Spectrum Entertainment, Casey’s FReeZA committee of young people, aged 12 to 25, have organised a great line-up of bands for the popular event on Friday 4 April.
Storm the Sky will headline the festival, which will run from 6.15pm to 11.15pm this Friday night.
The supporting acts include Elegist, Void of Vision, Exposures, Danger, Earthquake, Heathercross and Stuck Below.
City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said FReeZA was a State Government program which encouraged youth to get involved with their community by planning and running drug, smoke and alcohol-free music and cultural events for other young people.
“Casey’s Fringe Fest not only gives young and emerging talent the opportunity to display their musical talents, but it also gives the community an occasion to enjoy great music at a safe and supervised event,” he said.
Cost to the event is $12 or $10 with a pass. Passes are available from all City of Casey youth information centres and customer service centres.
For more information, call City of Casey on 9705 5200 or visit our website www.casey.vic.gov.au/youth.
