Badges for veterans

CRANBOURNE RSL Bowls Club hosted a significant presentation ceremony on Monday as seven club members received their veterans badge and certificate.
Presented to bowlers when they reach 80 years of age, the award recognised members who have made a valuable contribution over the years.
Upcoming events of note include the club’s annual general meeting to be held on Sunday 11 May at the Dandenong/Cranbourne RSL Sportsman’s Bar commencing at 10am. A notice has been mailed out to all members. All Committee of Management, selection, tournament and green director positions are available and nominations for positions close on Sunday 4 May. Nomination forms are available at the bowls club.
Also the Club Championship Presentation Night will be held on Monday 5 May in the Dandenong/Cranbourne RSL Bistro, commencing at 6.30pm, with presentations to follow dinner. Invitations have been mailed out to all members.
