Tokens of thanks

ANZAC Day is still four weeks away but this year Anzac badges and tokens will be available in local schools from Tuesday 1 April.
This is due to the school holidays and Easter falling between that time and 25 April – Anzac Day. Schools will have only four days before the holidays and three days when schools go back to distribute their stocks.
Selling points and honesty boxes in the community and at businesses will be available as usual for the two weeks prior to Anzac Day.
On 25 April the Dawn Service at the Council Offices in Narre Warren will commence at 6am and the main commemoration service will commence in High Street, Berwick, at 10.45am.
This year marks the 99th anniversary of the Anzac landings.
Your support, as always, is appreciated greatly.
Ray Heathcote,
President Berwick RSL sub branch.
