TWO men brandishing a tyre lever robbed a man in High Street, Cranbourne, earlier this week.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred about 7.45pm on Sunday.
The victim had just left the TAB when the thieves approached and threatened him.
They fled with a large amount of cash.
The first man is described as aged in his late teens to early 20s, of Islander appearance and more than 183 centimetres tall with a medium to solid build.
He ran off towards the rear car park of the Centro plaza following the robbery.
The second man almost got hit by a car as he fled across High Street.
He’s also described as in his late teens to early 20s, but shorter than the first male with a thin and pale face and untidy appearance. He was wearing a hoodie.
Police urged anyone who witnessed the incident – particularly the driver involved in the near-collision – to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
