So much hot air

ROSALIE Crestani and Rafal Kaplon are both councillors of the Four Oaks Ward.
Councillor Crestani has not got the ability to change complex property regulations nor does Cr Kaplon have any influence to change long-term funding arrangements between local, state and federal governments.
Yet things these two councillors can change in their own ward – such as ensuring a safe children’s crossing half-finished for four months is completed or that the dead and dying mature oak trees that make up the Avenue of Honour are treated with respect – remain unchanged.
Both would rather spruik their opinions in local newspapers.
David McKenzie,
Narre Warren North.
