LYNBROOK Primary School had some flipping fun all for a good cause on Tuesday.
The school hosted a Pancake Day to have some fun in the kitchen while raising money for UnitingCare so they can continue their work in assisting the homeless.
Prep and Grade 1 students were joined by their grandparents to cook up a storm for the school community, who could then enjoy the pancakes for a gold coin donation.
Lynbrook Primary School Prep co-ordinator Rebekah Booth said the UnitingCare Pancake Day was an annual fundraising event that encouraged local people to help local people.
“Pancake Day is always a fun day for the community, but there are serious issue that underpin it,” she said.
“This year, all money raised directly assists vital UnitingCare programs and services helping people experiencing homelessness or on the brink of financial crisis.”
