POLICE have impounded a Cranbourne North women’s car after she was clocked allegedly driving double the speed limit and three times the blood alcohol limit last night.
Casey Highway Patrol members detected the red Holden sedan doing 110km/h in a 50km/h zone on Mountainview Boulevard, Cranbourne North, about 6.30pm.
After being breath tested she returned a positive reading of .161 per cent, police said.
The 37-year-old woman had her licence immediately suspended for 12 months and her car was impounded for 30 days.
She is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving, speed dangerous, conduct endangering life and other traffic-related offences.
