CASH was stolen during a break-in at a Cranbourne Thai restaurant earlier this month.
A Thai restaurant on High Street was broken into between 9pm on Saturday 7 December and 9.30am on Sunday 8 December.
A jemmy bar was used to force open the front door and a cash tin was taken.
The same night, someone attempted to gain entry to another Cranbourne restaurant along the South Gippsland Highway but were not successful.
Police said there were a series of burglaries in Endeavour Hills and Narre Warren early this year, where similar business types were targeted.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
