THE festive spirit was well and truly alive in Lynbrook on the weekend for the annual Christmas parade.
A huge crowd turned out to watch the parade through the shopping village with Santa arriving on a CFA fire truck, Mrs Claus, an elf, a pixie and roving characters.
There were also giveaways, balloon modelling, Christmas storytelling, local performances and prizes for the whole family to enjoy.
