Red light alert

Thumbs down to the stupid driver of a white car who came flying through the red light on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Lesdon Avenue and South Gippsland Highway.
Myself and two other drivers had already entered the intersection, traffic to my right in the left hand land had stopped when a white car, in the right hand lane, travelling way too fast, came straight through the red light.
Luckily I spotted him at the last minute and braked hard sounding my horn.
Unfortunately, I was too shocked to get his licence plate number.
Maybe the driver of the blue four-wheel drive who turned in front of me and followed the white car into the Bunnings car park may have got his number.
This is a very dangerous intersection.
There have already been two fatalities and many other accidents.
I use this intersection several times a day and there are many cars and trucks who disregard the red light.
I believe we need a red light camera here or a yellow flashing light warning of an impending stop ahead.
Denise,
Cranbourne.
