A NUMBER of slithery and slimy friends visited Cranbourne Homemaker Centre last week for some school holiday fun.
The centre hosted a reptile display on Wednesday 25 September, with a large crowd turning out to handle and take photos with snakes, lizards and baby crocodiles.
Plenty of other activities kept the kids entertained with free soft serve cones, arts and craft classes, balloons, face painting, lucky dips and caring for pets’ information sessions.
Centre manager Kate Parkinson it was a fantastic way to kick off the school holidays.
“The children’s smile and laughter energised the centre with parents getting great enjoyment out of seeing huge smiles on the kid’s faces as they relished in the activities,” she said.
“The events really make it easier on mums and dads during the school holidays, adding another dimension to entertaining the kids during their two-week break.”
